Paris, the City of Light, just got a whole lot brighter! In a spectacular partnership that perfectly unites heritage, glamour, and artistry, Swarovski has been named the exclusive sponsor of the iconic Champs-Élysées Holiday Illuminations for its 2025 celebration.
As the Austrian house of crystal celebrates its remarkable 130th anniversary, this landmark sponsorship transforms the world’s most beautiful avenue into a mesmerizing spectacle of light, underscoring Swarovski’s long-standing mastery of light and its deep connection to the French capital.

The 2025 Illuminations, which will dazzle visitors from November 16, 2025, to January 4, 2026, kicked off with a star-studded opening ceremony. Acclaimed French actress Léa Seydoux had the honor of being the event’s “godmother,” officially flipping the switch to unleash the brilliance. French-Canadian singer and songwriter Charlotte Cardin added to the magic with a captivating performance, naturally adorned in stunning Swarovski pieces from the Constella family.
For seven festive weeks, over 400 illuminated trees along the two-kilometer stretch between the Arc de Triomphe and the Place de la Concorde will be transformed. This year features a reinvented sound and light show with innovative LED technology, promising a truly immersive and dynamic experience. Look closely, and you’ll see a special salute to the sponsor: the Swarovski name will dangle in a delicate gold loop every evening, a sparkling testament to this historic partnership.
Swarovski’s relationship with Paris is not new. The house’s founder, Daniel Swarovski, showcased his pioneering electric-powered crystal cutting machine at the 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle, sparking a lasting bond with the city and its fashion houses.
Today, that legacy continues. Swarovski crystals illuminate runway looks during Paris Fashion Week and even adorn the Rond-Point des Champs-Élysées fountains. This exclusive sponsorship and pop-up store are a magnificent way to celebrate a 130-year journey of innovation, art, and light, solidifying Swarovski’s role as a true Master of Light in the world’s most iconic city.
