TAG Heuer and Japanese streetwear legend Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design is back for its third chapter, and it might just be the most compelling yet. The brands have unveiled the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x fragment Limited Edition, a watch that blends high-octane racing heritage with Fujiwara’s signature minimalist aesthetic.
Limited to just 500 pieces, this collaboration takes the popular “glassbox” Carrera—a modern tribute to the original 1960s design—and distills it into a monochrome statement piece that collectors are already buzzing about.

Behind the striking design is serious watchmaking pedigree. The watch is powered by the in-house TAG Heuer Calibre TH20-00 automatic movement, featuring:
- 80-Hour Power Reserve: A robust reserve for modern convenience.
- Column Wheel Chronograph: The sophisticated mechanism visible through the sapphire caseback.
- Caseback Detail: The movement’s oscillating weight is customized with black lines, tying the mechanical heart of the watch to fragment’s graphic aesthetic.
The combination of the TH20-00 movement, 100-meter water resistance, and the 39mm steel case ensures this timepiece is built for performance, honoring the Carrera’s history as a driver’s watch.

The timepiece is completed with the recently reintroduced seven-row “beads-of-rice” steel bracelet, a vintage-inspired design that adds texture and elegance. However, Fujiwara adds his final touch: the central links are finished with a black PVD coating, perfectly echoing the watch’s dramatic black-and-white contrast language.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x fragment Limited Edition is more than just a watch; it’s a conversation between Swiss racing heritage and global streetwear culture. It’s a statement of quiet influence, perfectly balanced between restraint and subtle disruption.
