Samsung Unveils the 130-Inch Micro RGB Flagship

Samsung Electronics has unveiled the world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB TV at CES 2026, introducing its largest Micro RGB display to date alongside a new design direction for ultra-premium televisions.

RGB sets, which other big TV makers are also showing, use individual red, green, and blue LEDs instead of white OLEDs with colour filters to create brighter images and full BT.2020 colour gamut coverage. The R95H model also becomes the first TV to support HDR10+ Advanced, the latest evolution of the HDR10+ standard.

Positioned as a statement product, the 130-inch display combines large-scale engineering with a gallery-inspired aesthetic. Its updated Timeless Frame design reinterprets Samsung’s earlier “technology as art” concept, presenting the screen as an architectural feature rather than a conventional TV. Integrated audio built into the frame is tuned to the size of the display, reinforcing the sense of an immersive, room-defining installation.

“Micro RGB represents the peak of our picture quality innovation, and the new 130-inch model takes that vision even further,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics. “We’re reviving the spirit of our original design philosophy introduced more than a decade ago to deliver an unmistakably premium display, engineered with technology for a new generation.”

At the core of the set is Samsung’s latest Micro RGB picture technology, driven by the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro and enhanced color and HDR processing. The display delivers full coverage of the BT.2020 color space and has been certified for precise Micro RGB color reproduction, while Samsung’s Glare Free technology is designed to preserve contrast and color accuracy across different lighting conditions.

The TV also incorporates Eclipsa Audio and Samsung’s expanded Vision AI Companion, enabling conversational search, personalised recommendations and access to a suite of AI-powered features and applications. Samsung will showcase the 130-inch Micro RGB TV as part of its exhibition at CES 2026 in Las Vegas.
