The Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas is officially open, bringing a fresh, boutique perspective to the sun-drenched landscapes of Paradise Valley and Scottsdale.

Following a massive $42 million reimagining of the former Scottsdale Plaza Resort, the Miralina isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a 40-acre sanctuary designed to help you find your own rhythm in the heart of the Sonoran Desert.

The resort’s design, led by the renowned studio Saguez & Dash, moves away from desert clichés. Instead, it embraces the “shifting light” of the valley. You’ll see it in the 224 guestrooms and 36 casitas, where the palette flows from soft sage and terracotta to the vibrant violets of a desert sunset.

The culinary crown jewel of the resort is Hecho Libre, a partnership with James Beard finalist Chef Wes Avila. The menu is a love letter to coastal Baja flavors and Sonoran ingredients, featuring wood-fired meats and an agave-forward bar program. For those sun-soaked afternoons, head to Cima, our poolside bar, for craft cocktails and elevated bites under the Arizona sky.

With six swimming pools (including the multi-tiered Canyon Pools), over 50,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor event space, and the glass-enclosed Horizon Pavilion, Miralina is built for connection—whether you’re here for a quiet escape, a desert wedding, or a corporate retreat that feels anything but “corporate.”
