With the debut of its new wireless charging system, Porsche is bringing a level of convenience and ease to EV ownership that has, until now, been reserved for our smartphones.
The Porsche Wireless Charging system delivers up to 11 kW of power, providing the same performance as a standard wired Level 2 charger. With an efficiency of up to 90%, very little energy is lost during the transfer.
The new all-electric Porsche Cayenne will be the first model to be offered with the optional wireless charging pre-installation and vehicle plate. The system is set to launch in Europe in 2026, with other markets to follow.
