Bilt Rewards has officially unveiled Bilt Card 2.0, a major evolution of its ecosystem that expands rewards beyond rent to include mortgages. Launched on January 14, 2026, the update introduces three distinct card tiers and a new currency called Bilt Cash.
Bilt allows you to pay rent with no transaction fee, and now, you can pay your mortgage with Bilt as well. There’s no preset spending limit on housing payments. Pay rent or mortgage without using your credit line. You can earn across multiple homes, with no annual housing points cap. And as always, Bilt offers members the ability to opt-in to free reporting of on-time rent payments to major credit bureaus to help build their credit history.
Everyday spend now fuels how many points you can unlock on housing payments. The more you use your Bilt Card, the more Bilt Cash you can earn to use to unlock points on housing payments.
For every $30 in Bilt Cash earned, you can unlock 1,000 Bilt Points when you make rent or mortgage payments, across multiple homes. For example, if your rent is $2,000 and you have $60 of Bilt Cash, you can convert your Bilt Cash into 2,000 points on that payment — still with no transaction fee.
Bilt Cash gives you flexibility: earn it from everyday spend and choose how to use it, whether to unlock points on housing payments, transfer bonuses, and exclusive experiences, or to spend dollar-for-dollar on monthly credits at restaurants, hotels, rideshare, and more.
Bilt is moving away from its one-size-fits-all model. In partnership with Cardless, Bilt 2.0 offers three distinct metal cards, allowing you to choose the reward structure that fits your spending habits:
