For six decades, the name “Volante” has been synonymous with the pinnacle of open-top grand touring. It represents not just a convertible, but a unique blend of timeless style, exhilarating performance, and the sensory joy of driving with the top down. To honor this rich heritage, Aston Martin’s bespoke personalization division, Q by Aston Martin, has unveiled two exclusive anniversary editions: the Vanquish Volante and the DB12 Volante.

These highly limited models—just 60 of each will be produced—are a masterclass in bespoke craftsmanship, celebrating the Volante’s history while embodying the modern Aston Martin aesthetic. The design ethos is a striking play on the classic “Green over Tan” theme, a nod to the brand’s iconic past.

Both models are finished in a sophisticated Q Pentland Green paint, complemented by a Westminster Green fabric roof. The exterior is punctuated by stunning anodized bronze accents, which adorn the signature vaned grille, side strakes, and the exclusive 21-inch Q wheels with diamond-turned edges. An enamel Q by Aston Martin badge discreetly signals the car’s rarity and special nature.

Inside, the anniversary treatment continues with a bespoke, tri-tone leather interior featuring Centenary Saddle Tan, Ivory, and Woven leather. This is paired with exquisite Dark Walnut Open Pore veneers and more bronze touchpoints, creating a cabin that is both refined and luxurious. The final touch? A special “60th Anniversary” embroidery on the headrests and etched into the seatbacks, a constant reminder of the car’s unique heritage.

While the aesthetics are a tribute, the performance is pure contemporary Aston Martin. The Vanquish Volante is the ultimate expression of power, boasting a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that delivers an astonishing 824 hp, making it the most powerful production convertible Aston Martin has ever built. It rockets from 0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 214 mph.

For those who desire a more versatile grand tourer, the DB12 Volante offers a compelling alternative. Its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 671 hp, allowing for a 0-60 mph sprint in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph. The DB12 combines this thrilling speed with a 2+2 seating configuration, making it a perfect blend of performance and everyday usability.

The 60th Anniversary Volante Editions are more than just cars; they are a rolling celebration of Aston Martin’s enduring legacy. As a limited-run collector’s item, they are an embodiment of rarity, performance, and the meticulous craftsmanship that defines the Q by Aston Martin division. Deliveries are set to begin in the final quarter of 2025, bringing this exclusive piece of history to the most discerning collectors worldwide.
