The Audi A6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron model families receive a comprehensive suite of hardware and software enhancements for the 2027 model year, designed to elevate both the driving and ownership experience. These driver- and customer-focused updates closely align with features previously introduced on the 2026 A5 and Q5 lineups and include an all-new MMI interface, a redesigned multifunction steering wheel, enhanced Audi drive select functionality, an available integrated dashcam, expanded driver-assistance systems, improved voice control, and extended connectivity features. The updated 2027 Audi A6 Sportback e-tron and Q6 e-tron models are expected to arrive in the second quarter of 2026.

Highlighting the flexibility of Audi’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) and E3 electronic architectures, the 2027 models also introduce EV-specific innovations. These include a more efficient regenerative one-pedal driving mode and a new Power Nap mode designed to create a more relaxing environment during charging stops. Complementing the expanded technology offering, every 2027 Audi A6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron model comes standard with Audi Signature Care scheduled maintenance for the first three years or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first, delivering added value and peace of mind for owners.

Beyond significant technology and design updates—along with included Audi Signature Care scheduled maintenance—all 2027 Audi Q6 e-tron and A6 e-tron models feature a newly updated multifunction steering wheel. Drawing inspiration from the functional aesthetic of the acclaimed Audi Concept C, the wheel reintroduces a tactile scroll wheel that reflects mechanical precision and quality. The familiar control returns to manage key functions, replacing the previous touch-sensitive interface used for volume and MMI menu selection.

A new Technology package introduced for the Premium Plus trim includes both the augmented-reality head-up display and the passenger display, the latter previously exclusive to the Prestige trim. Building on Premium and Premium Plus content, the 2027 Q6 e-tron and Q6 Sportback e-tron Prestige trims now add Audi drive select assistant, Park Assist Pro with remote functionality, Rear Emergency Brake Assist, the Air Quality package, Digital OLED taillights, and a top-view camera system with 3D view.
An optional S line Black Optic package, available on Q6 e-tron SUV Premium Plus and Prestige trims, features 20-inch bi-color 5–double-spoke offset wheels, anthracite Audi rings, and black exterior mirrors and trim. Vehicles equipped with the Black Optic package—including Q6 Sportback e-tron models—may also be specified with an accessory illuminated version of the anthracite Audi rings. For added versatility, an optional trailer hitch with a 4,400-lb towing capacity remains available across all 2027 Audi Q6 and SQ6 e-tron models.
For 2027, the Audi SQ6 e-tron and SQ6 Sportback e-tron lineups now begin at the Premium Plus trim level, which includes the new Audi dashcam system as standard, and receive trim enhancements similar to those of the Q6 e-tron models. For the first time, Prestige trims of the SQ6 e-tron and SQ6 Sportback e-tron offer an optional Audi exclusive design package, featuring Jet Gray and Ocean Blue seat upholstery, Dinamica elements in Jet Gray with Ocean Blue contrast stitching, and floor mats accented with Ocean Blue edging and Jet Gray stitching.
