No Cords, No Hassles: The Future of Porsche Charging is Wireless

Porsche is once again at the forefront of automotive innovation, this time revolutionizing the way we power our electric vehicles. With the debut of its new wireless charging system, Porsche is bringing a level of convenience and ease to EV ownership that has, until now, been reserved for our smartphones.

The Porsche Wireless Charging system delivers up to 11 kW of power, providing the same performance as a standard wired Level 2 charger. With an efficiency of up to 90%, very little energy is lost during the transfer.

The new all-electric Porsche Cayenne will be the first model to be offered with the optional wireless charging pre-installation and vehicle plate. The system is set to launch in Europe in 2026, with other markets to follow.

This innovative technology is not just about charging a car; it’s about making the electric lifestyle more seamless and effortless, proving that for Porsche, the future of electric mobility is both high-performance and highly convenient.
