This bespoke creation marks the debut of the new Sonderwunsch (Special Request) project, “Icons of Latin America,” and serves as a powerful testament to the region’s rich culture and biodiversity.
Inspired by the Amazon: Forest Green & The Wild Cat
The ‘Ocelot’ draws its inspiration directly from the heart of South America: the Colombian Amazon rainforest and one of its most elegant inhabitants, the elusive Ocelot wild cat.
The Exterior: A Canopy of Color
The one-off 911 GT3 Touring wears an exclusive Paint to Sample Forest Green Metallic finish. This deep, sophisticated hue evokes the vast, life-giving canopy of the Amazon, setting a dramatic and elegant tone.
- Wheels: The 20/21-inch forged aluminum wheels are also painted in the matching Forest Green Metallic, beautifully contrasted by delicate Centenaire Silver lines on the face for a balance of strength and finesse.
The Interior: Spotting the Ocelot
Stepping inside, the cabin is where the inspiration shifts, capturing the stunning aesthetic of the Ocelot’s coat:
- Leather & Color: The interior is swathed in rich Cohiba Brown leather, mirroring the cat’s golden-brown fur. This is accented by Crema and Truffle Brown cross-stitching throughout the cabin.
- Heritage Fabric: The Sports Seats feature Pepita fabric seat centers in a palette of Truffle Brown, Black, and Cream White. This not only echoes the Ocelot’s spotted pattern (its rosette markings) but also pays tribute to Porsche’s classic interior heritage.
- The Silhouette: The most poignant detail is found on the headrests, which are embossed with the unmistakable silhouette of the Ocelot. This design choice was directly inspired by Colombian traffic signs that alert drivers to wildlife crossings, serving as a subtle, yet powerful, symbol of respect and coexistence between humanity and nature.
