Introducing the PUMA x BMW M Motorsport Art Car Capsule Collection, masterfully designed by the visionary artist Cao Fei.
For decades, the BMW Art Car project has transformed iconic race cars into rolling canvases, inviting some of the world’s most renowned artists to infuse their creative spirit into automotive design. From Andy Warhol to Jeff Koons, these mobile masterpieces have blurred the lines between engineering prowess and artistic expression.

Now, with Cao Fei at the helm, this tradition takes a significant leap into the 21st century. Cao Fei, known for her captivating explorations of virtuality, digital culture, and society, brings a fresh, digitally-inspired perspective to the legendary Art Car lineage. Her original BMW M6 GT3 Art Car, “RWBY,” was a fascinating blend of augmented reality and physical presence, examining the rapid changes in Chinese society.
The exclusive PUMA x BMW M Motorsport Art Car Capsule Collection by Cao Fei comprises five pieces. They all represent different aspects of the Art Car #18 design. To reflect the project’s connection to the digital world, selected details feature glow-in-the-dark elements. These add another visual highlight to the collection, which is now available worldwide, including at the BMW Lifestyle Shop.
