
Robinhood has announced the Robinhood Platinum Card, its first premium travel credit card, entering a competitive market dominated by companies like American Express.
- The card will have a $695 annual fee and feature 99.9% pure platinum plating.
- It includes multiple use-it-or-lose-it statement credits, similar to perks popularized by American Express cards.
Rewards structure:
- 5% cash back on dining (up to $50,000 per year)
- 5% cash back on flights
- 10% cash back on hotels and car rentals booked through the Robinhood Banking app
- 1% cash back on all other purchases
Key benefits include:
- $500 hotel credit for luxury hotel bookings through the Robinhood travel portal
- $300 annual travel credit for flights, hotels, or rideshares
- Priority Pass Select lounge membership
- Up to $120 credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fees
- $250 autonomous rides credit (monthly rides credits)
- $250 dining credit (monthly restaurant credits)
- $250 in credits for DoorDash plus DashPass benefits
- $200 health wearable credit
- Free memberships with Function Health, Amazon One Medical, and Oura (with Oura Ring purchase)
- Complimentary Robinhood Gold membership
The company has not yet announced a sign-up bonus or official launch date, only saying the card is “coming soon.”
