Jordan Brand and the Virgil Abloh Archive have announced the Air Jordan 1 High OG x V.A.A., the first global product released from the late designer Virgil Abloh’s archive of over 20,000 objects. The collaboration continues the influential partnership between Nike and Abloh that began in 2017.
The sneaker follows Abloh’s design philosophy of “making the hidden visible,” featuring an open construction, an exposed tongue, an orange tab on the Swoosh, and bold “AIR” text printed over the midsole’s air unit to highlight the shoe’s internal structure.
To celebrate the release, the Virgil Abloh Archive will host V.A.A. World’s Fair events in major cities tied to Abloh’s life, including Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. The first activation will occur in Los Angeles with an exclusive EQL raffle for attendees and locals, while the first 100 subscribers to the Archive’s Toolkit program will receive a free pair.
The Air Jordan 1 High OG x V.A.A. will release April 3, 2026 via Nike and select retailers
