The 2026 Lexus ES introduces a new shared multi-pathway platform used across hybrid and electric models. The ES 350e (FWD) and ES 500e (AWD with dual motors) are fully electric and both use a 74.7-kWh battery, while the ES 350h hybrid shares the same design and platform.
All models come with updated tech, including a 12.3-inch driver display, a 14-inch infotainment screen, and the latest Lexus Safety System+ 4.0. An optional Executive package (on the ES 350e Luxury trim) adds premium rear-seat features like power adjustments, heating, ventilation, massage, and a passenger-side ottoman.

The 2026 Lexus ES rides on an updated TNGA-K–based platform that supports both hybrid and fully electric powertrains. The ES 350e (FWD) and ES 500e (AWD) place their 74.7-kWh batteries under the floor with motors at the axles, while the ES 350h hybrid uses a gas-electric system with a rear-mounted battery and available AWD.
Styling is inspired by the LF-ZC concept, with sleek, aerodynamic design elements, signature L-shaped lighting, and a coupe-like profile. The new ES is larger than before, offering more headroom, legroom, and overall interior space, along with improved ease of entry.

Electric models feature enhanced aerodynamics, a charge port on the front fender, and available 21-inch wheels, while all trims come standard with 19-inch wheels and new exterior color options.
Inside, the ES blends minimalist design with luxury materials and advanced tech. Premium trims include NuLuxe seating and ambient lighting, while Luxury trims add semi-aniline leather and bamboo accents. All models feature a 12.3-inch driver display and 14-inch touchscreen with updated controls.

New features include electronic door latches with Safe Exit Assist, optional Advanced Park, and a high-end Executive package (on ES 350e Luxury) that upgrades the rear seats with power adjustments, ventilation, massage, climate controls, and added comfort amenities.
The 2026 Lexus ES electric models (ES 350e and ES 500e) introduce major tech upgrades beyond electrification. Both feature the latest Lexus Interface with a 12.3-inch driver display and 14-inch touchscreen, offering improved usability, customizable widgets, dual Bluetooth connectivity, OTA updates, and an integrated drive recorder. Standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a wireless charger, and connected services like Cloud Navigation, Intelligent Assistant, and Remote Connect via the Lexus app.

Premium and Luxury trims enhance the experience with upgraded audio systems, Digital Key functionality, and added comfort features like a radiant heater and soft-close doors.
Performance-wise, both models share a 74.7-kWh battery. The ES 350e (FWD, 221 hp) reaches 0–60 mph in 7.4 seconds with up to 307 miles of range, while the ES 500e (AWD, 338 hp) is quicker at 5.1 seconds with up to 276 miles of range. The DIRECT4 AWD system optimizes torque distribution for better traction and handling.
Charging is fast and flexible, with a standard NACS port, access to 76,000+ chargers, ~7-hour Level 2 charging, and DC fast charging from 10–80% in about 28 minutes. Additional features like battery preconditioning, Plug & Charge, and enhanced app-based charging tools improve convenience and efficiency.
